• What is Silk'n LED Chest Mask Pro?

  Designed to target the delicate skin of the neck and chest area, this state-of-the-art LED mask offers cutting-edge features that promote tighter and firmer skin. Powered by 7 advanced LED modes and 5 powerful wavelengths, this mask uses patented convex lenses that allows for deeper, more even skin penetration of the LED light. • How does LED light work?

  The LED light (red, dark red, amber and blue) is absorbed by the epidermis and dermis, the two upper layers of the skin. This process triggers cellular activity, which helps to renew skin cells and repair ageing tissue. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles, stimulates collagen, helps to improve blood circulation, tackles acne related redness and evens the skin tone. After each session, the skin looks more beautiful and radiant than before.
  
  (Deep) Near-Infrared technology is an invisible light that reaches the deeper layers of the skin and supports the production of collagen and elastin. For more volume and a smoother appearance.

• What do you tackle with the different modes of the Silk'n LED Chest Mask Pro?

  • Mode 1 – Red LED light (633nm): Reduces fine lines, stimulates collagen production and helps to improve blood circulation.
  
  • Mode 2 – Blue LED light (463nm): Reduces acne-related redness and imperfections for clearer skin.
  
  • Mode 3 – Amber LED light (605nm): Improves skin hydration, sooths dry and sensitive skin, and helps reduce pigmentation and redness.
  
  • Mode 4 – Near-Infrared (830nm) + Deep Near-Infrared (1072nm): Helps reduce wrinkles, promote collagen and elastin production, and boosts blood circulation on a deeper level to improve skin tone, texture and resilience. It also helps maintain skin layers beyond the dermis.
  
  • Mode 5 – Red LED light (633nm) + Near-Infrared (830nm) + Deep Near-Infrared (1072nm): Combines the benefits of Mode 1 and Mode 4; For younger-looking and tighter skin.

• What is the irradiance?

  • Mode 1 = 20.3 mW/cm²
  • Mode 2 = 13.8 mW/cm²
  • Mode 3 = 17.8 mW/cm²
  • Mode 4 = 12.2 - 26.5 mW/cm²
  • Mode 5 = 24.3 - 32.8 mW/cm²

• How should I use the device?

  • Fully charge the product.
  • Thoroughly clean and dry your neck and chest. Make sure it is free from any make-up and dirt as they can reduce the amount of light entering the skin.
  • Fit the LED chest/neck mask comfortably on your chest.
  • Use the hook-and-loop fasteners on the neck straps to secure the mask around your neck. The heart-shape part of the mask should rest on your chest. Make sure that the product is as close to the skin as possible.
  • Press and hold the on/off button to switch on the product. The product emits a beep sound and the indicator lights on the controller illuminate white when switched on.
  • The LED lights turn on. By default, Mode 1 is activated.
  • If desired, press the mode button repeatedly to select another operation mode.
  • The product emits a short beep sound when the operation mode is changed.
  • The product automatically switches off after 10 minutes. You can also press and hold the on/off button to switch off the product at any time.
  • The product emits two short beep sounds when switched off.

• Is it suitable for everyone?

  It is suitable for both women and men, for all skin types and all skin colours. However, this device is not designed for everyone's condition. Please read the contraindications in the user manual before you start your sessions.

• Is it safe?

  After extensive testing, Silk’n LED Chest Mask Pro has been found to be safe to use in a typical home environment by both men and women. Always read the manual carefully before using Silk’n LED Chest Mask Pro.

• Does a session hurt?

  No, it does not hurt. You will only feel a mild sensation of warmth during your session when using the LED function. You may also experience slight redness of the skin during and just after the treatment, but this will quickly fade.
  If you experience any discomfort, stop using the device and contact your physician. We recommend reading the user manual before starting your session.

• Should I apply a serum or cream before the session?

  Some skincare products contain ingredients that can be photosensitive or reactive when exposed to LED light. Therefore, we advise performing the session on clean, dry skin, free from any makeup, dirt, serum or cream. Apply a serum or cream after your session to hydrate the skin. However, if you choose to use one beforehand, ensure it is compatible with LED light and fully absorbed before starting your session.

• Can I combine this with the Builder serum and Balancer serum?

  Yes, you can! These serums are specially designed to be used with LED light therapy and can also be incorporated into your daily skincare routine.
  The Builder Serum is formulated to enhance anti-ageing results, while the Balancer Serum helps reduce pigmentation and redness. For more information about these serums, please visit their product pages.

• How long does a session take?

  One session takes 10 minutes in which one preferred mode will be active. The mask automatically switches off after 10 minutes.

• How often should I use it?

  This product is suitable for daily use. However, do not use the product for more than 10 minutes per session and max. once a day. Also, modes that include Blue LED light (Mode 2 and Mode 6) can only be used max. 3 times a week, for a maximum of 10 minutes per session.

• When can I expect results?

  The first results can be expected after 2 weeks of use with a minimum of 3-4 sessions per week for 10 minutes per session. Please note that this may vary per person.

• Can I sunbathe?

  Yes. Because Silk’n LED Chest Mask Pro is not a laser, you can sunbathe immediately before or after the session. You don’t necessarily need to use a SPF cream after the session, although this is always recommended due to the general ageing effect of UV light on the skin.

• Is there any recovery time?

  Silk’n LED Chest Mask Pro works differently from laser, so there is no recovery period. The risk of skin damage is greatly reduced. You can immediately carry on with your daily activities.

• At what age can it be used?

  This device is suitable from the age of 18 and up.

• Can I use this device when I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

  No, you may not use this device when your are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Should I close my eyes during the session?

  No, that is not necessary.

• How do I clean my mask?

  Remove the controller from the magnetic holder. Use a damp cloth or a water-based wipe to wipe off the mask. Then wipe it dry with a dry cloth. Attach the controller back onto the magnetic holder after cleaning.
  
  Please pay attention to the following:
  • Always unplug the product from the power source before cleaning.
  • Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers, and the like.
  • Do not use hot water for cleaning.
