Why should I use an electrical callus remover?

Because it is much safer than metal scrapers and more effective than a pumice stone. Also, metal scrapers can painfully cut and injure your skin.

How do I use the device?

Start your session with clean, dry feet and make sure the preferred grinding disc (fine, medium, or coarse) is attached to the device. Curious about how to attach the grinding disc? Please check the user manual for a clear explanation and illustrations on how to use it. Press and hold the power button to start the device. The product will turn on at low speed. Press the power button again if you wish to use the higher speed setting. Move the grinding disc over the areas where you want to remove calluses. Apply gentle pressure and make sure not to keep the device in one place for longer than 2–3 seconds. It may feel slightly warm, but it should never feel too warm — that means you are holding it in one spot for too long. Make sure the device is constantly moving across the skin. Once you are finished, press the on/off button again to switch the device off. The product comes with a memory function, so the last selected speed setting will automatically be selected again the next time you use it.

Which refill is recommended to start with?

We always recommend starting with the soft disc. If you feel it is too soft, you can switch to the medium or coarse disc.

How long do the grinding discs last?

Since the discs are made of glass, they last much longer compared to regular grinding discs. Depending on how often they are used, they can last up to one year.

Do I need to replace the grinding discs if it falls?

If a grinding disc is damaged after falling, it needs to be replaced. The grinding discs are made of glass, and glass can break. Please inspect the discs carefully before using them again. If you have any doubts, do not continue using them. Any broken or damaged disc, even with minor damage, should be replaced immediately.

Can I purchase the grinding discs again?

Yes, the grinding discs are available in packs of two on our website. We offer one set with soft/medium discs and one set with medium/coarse discs.

Does it work with batteries?

No, Silk'n GlassPedi can be recharged with the USB cable and USB wall adapter. After the device is fully charged, you can use GlassPedi up to 300 minutes.
